I still get excited when it’s time to deliver a bride and groom’s wedding album. After all, it is the culmination of weeks worth of hard work, and nothing represents my work (or a wedding) better.

This album is for Julia and Beau Taylor, and I’ll be driving down to Indianapolis later this week to deliver it. I often ship them to clients, but if I can deliver it in person I always do – it’s such an exciting moment!

So here’s a peek at Julia and Beau’s album.

First up is actually an 8″ Brag Book that will be going to Tonya at Circle City Planners. Beneath it in the archival grey box is the flush mount book.

A look at the velvet presentation/storage bag.

Spine from the wraparound photo cover.

A peek at the finished product, with my 40×60 inch canvas from the wedding on the wall behind. Their finished book is 12×12 inches and 50 sides! Huge. It weighs like eight pounds!

One of the center spreads.

There you have it, a tiny peek at a great wedding album. Can’t wait for Julia to see it!

What a super-fun Senior Portrait! Nikole was up for anything, including posing in front of some construction debris. She also went right along with some far out ideas, and I think our results are great. Visit my facebook page for even more, the link is up on the top right of this page.

When Halloween falls on a Saturday, you know there’s going to be something good to do!

After taking my daughter Trick or Treating, it was my turn for a little fun. Somehow that meant packing up a camera and taking some photos. Wait, isn’t that my job? Well, it is, but who can resist musicians in costume and… beer!

Root Hog and the Woodstove Flapjacks were the top billing in town on Halloween, and the Lafayette Brewing Company is one great place to see a show. Thank you to my friend Katie Sweeney for helping me put my look together for the night, it was a hit!
