First things first: I’ve been a professional wedding photographer for eleven years now. I love it – it makes me smile, it makes me proud, let’s face it… it makes me money, too. But honestly? What better job than mine? I get to spend the day with very happy people who are dressed up, smiling, hugging, kissing, and come evening there’s a big party! Another important thing to mention is that this is my “real” job. I don’t have a day job, I don’t work part-time from home. I own a 1,000 square foot studio at 505 Main Street in Lafayette, and spend my days there serving my clientele.

Besides photography I enjoy playing drums in Moonshine Mason and the Rot Gut Gang – my vintage/retro/traditional country band. You know, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash – that kind of stuff.

I’m married with two kids, an Irish Setter named Katie and a cat, Mr. Whiskers.

A couple of years ago I started hosting the Local Music Show on WBAA once a month. It’s at 920AM at 6:00pm every Saturday. But you’ll only get to hear my lovely voice every fourth show.

Let’s see, what else? I like Formula One (it’s my only sport), I like to read… non-fiction, I like movies. A lot. Have you seen The Dark Knight yet? Oh man it’s good. Heath Ledger? Whooo-whee!
